Video: David Ginola says he wants to change FIFA in first address as presidential hopeful

Is he the man to oust Blatter?

Conan Doherty

Welcome to Team Ginola.

The David Ginola campaign for FIFA presidency has begun and the Frenchman has outlined exactly why he wants to replace Sepp Blatter in this new video.

In a campaign backed by Paddy Power, the Irish bookmakers have this morning released the first installment of the Team Ginola manifesto.

Looking unsurprisingly dapper, the Spurs legend speaks out about why he wants to affect change in the game he holds so dear.

“I’m standing because, like you, I love football,” he says. “We all know that FIFA’s system isn’t working. The game needs to change. But I can’t change it on my own, I need you to stand up and change it with me.

“You’re saying yes to a FIFA that cares about one thing, football.”
