VIDEO: David Beckham’s Wimbledon lob is just as good when recreated with Lego

"That is absolutely phenomenal!"

Darragh Murphy

19 years later and some clever clogs has finally gotten round to paying tribute to David Beckham the right way.

We’re strong believers in the theory that nothing can’t be improved with Lego and Beckham’s wondrous lob against Wimbledon is no exception.

The toy-loving lads over at The Guardian have put together a compilation of some of the best lobs that have ever taken place in football and Lego-ed them up a treat.

The 20 year anniversary of Nayim’s famous goal against Arsenal prompted the production of the video which also features David Seaman getting beaten by Ronaldinho’s long range effort in the 2002 World Cup.

But the most memorable for Premier League fans among you is Becks’ chip from the halfway line in 1996.

In other news, Charlie Adam is absolutely raging.
