Fight fans had cause for celebration recently.
After seemingly endless speculation and negotiation, two world famous rivals finally decided to settle their differences in the ring.
No, not Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, the Rock and Cristiano Ronaldo.
One extremely dedicated gamer decided to simulate the ‘fight of the century’ between the Real Madrid footballer and the WWE wrestler, and Hollwood star, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Why you ask? Well, why the hell not?
The Spanish gamer used ‘Create-a-Superstar’ mode to build Ronaldo, and the decided to pit him against his, apparently, bitter enemy The Rock.
Their supposed beef stems back to Ronaldo’s break-up with Irina Shayk, who co-starred with The Rock a recent Hercules movie. Rumours spread that the WWE star was implicit in the break-up and this gamer decided that simulating a fight at Wrestlemania, with the Russian model at ringside, was the best way to settle the beef.
Ronaldo’s finishing manoeuvre is a spinning-kick of some sort, but there’s no option for him to stand in in the middle of the ring with his hands on his hips looking annoyed.
He also enters the ring with a mobile phone. Why? Just because…
The gamer has previously created a version of Lionel Messi, but unlike Ronaldo, there is absolutely no physical resemblance. Messi is WWE champ though, and in this alternate wrestling/football universe the pair still can’t get along. Messi also gets bodyslammed by Brock Lesnar a lot.
Hat-tip The Mirror.
