Jose Mourinho has just slammed a pantomime mud-pie into Arsene Wenger’s face in his press conference ahead of the clash with Newcastle.
The Chelsea manager has been in especially cranky form this season, and last week’s win 2-0 win over Arsenal has done nothing to appease the ‘Special One’.
The result did come at a cost however after Diego Costa was hit with a three-match ban for his antics in the build-up to Gabriel’s red-card.
Arsene Wenger  was incensed after the game and called for action to be taken against the striker, which it subsequently was.
And though he was careful not to name who he was talking about, Jose Mourinho seems to have attacked the Frenchman on his Friday press conference, labelling him a ‘king’ and a someone who despite losing matches, will never have his job under threat.
He also alleges that this mysterious unnamed fellow manager is immune to being punished by the FA for comments after games:
“I think in this country, only one manager is not under pressure. Steve is under pressure, I am under pressure, Brendan, Pellegrini. We cannot lose matches, we have to reach expectations, we have to meet our objectives, so I have sympathy for all of them and I believe they have sympathy for me.”
“These is one that for some reason is outside that list, but good for him and of course I have sympathy for Steve.”
“He can speak about referees before the game, can speak about referees after the game, can push people in the technical area, can cry in the morning, can cry in the afternoon when nothing happens, can be not achieving, can keep the job, still the king, it is a privilege.”
Mourinho was asked to clarify who he was speaking about, but gave this answer to reporters:
“You know. If I answer I am going to be suspended.”

The Chelsea boss also refused to be further drawn on Costa’s suspension, deflecting all questions while also expressing is frustration at the club yet to receive the written reasons for the three-game ban,
“Your question is clear, you don’t need my answer. It is not normal but nothing more to say.”
“If I answer I am going to be suspended. I don’t comment because in the rule book it says some managers can speak about the referee before and after the game and others cannot. I am in the ones that are punished if they do. I have to stick with that rule book.”
