Cometh the hour (23 minutes), cometh the Corkman.
Salford City’s FA Cup adventure continues after a 1-1 draw with Hartlepool last night.
The non-league side, who are part-owned by Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs and Peter Lim, are now in the pot for the third round draw.
They had to battle back from an early goal down after ‘Pool’s Rhys Oates dispatched a penalty chance.
The League Two side would have hoped for a second goal to settle the tie but City battled back.
With 23 minutes gone on the clock [go to 1:20 in the video below], a free kick was swung into the Hartlepool box. The ball was headed back across the six yard line, from the back post, and Stephen O’Halloran pounced.

The 28-year-old, from Cobh, is a defender by trade and got his first taste of English football in 2006 with Aston Villa.
He had four loan spells during his time at Villa Park before eventually moving on to Coventry City. There were also stints at Carlisle United and Nuneaton before, this summer, he joined Salford.
O’Halloran and all of his teammates will find out who they could potentially face in the third round this weekend.
