And he had the temerity to complain to the referee.
Northern Ireland all but secured qualification for Euro 2016 on Monday evening after drawing 1-1 with Hungary at home.
An 11th hour equaliser from Kyle Lafferty cancelled out Guzmics first half effort which means the Nordies are still top of Group F and require just two points from their remaining two fixtures to ensure qualification.
Despite the late goal giving the Northern Irish faithful something to cheer about, Chris Baird’s vile sending off nearly put a dampner on the whole night.
Baird was given his marching orders in somewhat unusual fashion after receiving two yellow cards for two separate incidents. The Derby County player blatantly fouled a Hungarian player off the ball, which the ref noted but allowed the match to continue until the ball went out of play.
Play was eventually brought to a halt, but not as the referee probably expected it to. Baird brought down another player with a hideous lunge. The ref stopped the game, showed Baird a yellow for the first challenge, then called him back and gave him a second card for the other foul.

According to the rulebook, Baird should not have been sent off. When a player commits more than one offence, the ref can only punish the more serious of the two.
However, justice was done, if you ask us as he was lucky to only get a yellow for the second foul.
