Henrik Larsson might have impressed himself enough to earn a start for his club’s next match.
The former Celtic and Barcelona striker is trying his hand at coaching with Swedish top-tier outfit Helsingborg.
On Wednesday, Larsson brought himself on as a substitute in a practice match against IFK Malmö, and it didn’t take long for the Swede to fire one into the back of the net.
19 minutes later, Larsson showed he was still had a touch of brilliance left in him at the ripe, young age of 43. He picked the up just outside the box, worked his way past a defender and smashed it into the back of the net with a well-struck effort.
Larsson’s effort was the last goal of a game in which Helsingborg ran out 7-1 winners.
