Gibraltar’s Jake Gosling wrote himself into the history books during the last international break with his consolation goal during his country’s 8-1 loss to Poland.
His effort saw him “smash” Gibraltar’s goal scoring record leaving him with an impressive international tally of two.
A much smaller story this week was some guy called Blaine Rooney or something also broke his country’s goalscoring record. AÂ video of his speech in the dressing room has since gone viral, which Gosling’s team Bristol Rovers team must have seen come up on their timelines.
Rovers gave Gosling a similarly rousing speech when he returned home from international duty after completing his remarkable feat.
