A new twist on a classic strip
Barcelona have this morning officially revealed their new home and away strips for next season and they mark something of a departure from tradition.
As many have speculated, the club’s home kit will feature horizontal stripes – the first time Barcelona have switched from their usual vertical pattern, while the shorts switch from navy to purple.
The away kit is even more bold. Having adopted the colours of the Catalan flag a few years back, Barca have relegated the vertical stripes to the back of the jersey, with the front now a solid block of yellow.
