We’re wishing Jordan Amavi a swift recovery.
The Aston Villa full-back sustained what looks to be an absolutely horrific knee injury while lining out for the French U21s on Thursday night.
The 21-year-old fell to his back during a challenge late on in the game with Northern Ireland’s U21 side and jolted his right knee in the process.

However it happened, the disturbing footage clearly shows the bottom half of the player’s leg flop sickeningly below the knee.
The extent of the injury is not yet known but Amavi’s screams would suggest that it’s quite severe.
We’re hoping that it looks a lot worse than it really is.
