After all that mayhem, Arturo Vidal will see out the remainder of the Copa America with Chile.

Vidal looked to have played his last game at the tournament when he was taking into police custody on Wednesday after he crashed his Ferrari while driving under the influence.

However, Chile have since announced that Vidal would not be removed from the competition, despite all the controversy.

The Juventus midfielder later faced the press, where he cried in front of the media as he apologised for his behaviour.

“I want to apologize to everyone, the people involved in the accident and all of Chile.”

“I went to casino, drank two drinks and had an accident that put my wife’s life at risk”

I am going to do everything to have Chile win the Copa America.”

Vidal has been formally charged with drink-driving and he has be banned from driving for four months. Check out his emotional apology below.
