Arsene Wenger pulled off an immaculate one-liner at Chelsea’s expense at the post-match press conference of Arsenal’s 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win over reading on Saturday.
Just before the press conference came to a close, Wenger was asked about Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Manchester United earlier that day in the Premier League.
Wenger was obviously too focused with his own side’s match to watch Chelsea’s triumph but the journalist informed him of the final scoreline.
A smirk washed over the Frenchman’s face and he delivered a line that caused the whole room to erupt with laughter.
“1-0, usual…”
Arsenal will welcome Chelsea to the Emirates this Sunday and we’re all eagerly anticipating Jose Mourinho’s response to Wenger’s comment.
