VIDEO: Arsenal trio audition for rugby careers in skills challenge against Saracens players

Check out the accent on Szczesny

We love a good cross over

Someone across the water must have been watching the Toughest Trade recently with Jackie Tyrrell and Aaron Kernan because this effort from Arsenal and English rugby side Sarcens is very similar.

Over the last few weeks we’ve brought you some snippets of Oliver Giroud juggling a rugby ball while Per Mertesacker showed off his second row ability when being hoisted in a line out.

Well the full video has finally dropped and show the French man and the German, as well as goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, faced with taking on skills that come naturally to Saracens rugby trio Kelly Brown, David Strettle and Chris Wyles.

They each had a go at doing keepy uppies with a rugby ball and football, with the Arsenal goalie proving spectacularly bad with a pathetic seven.

The tests then included the footballers catching a Garryowen, while the rugby players had to convert a cross successfully to the net.

The last challenge for the footballers then involved passing a rugby ball against either posts and the crossbar, while the English Premiership trio had to try and slip a penalty past the Polish netminder.
