That didn’t take long.
The Gunner’s were quick to devise a chant for their marquee signing of the summer. Following Arseanal’s 1-0 Community Shield triumph over Chelsea, several videos emerged on social media of fans belting out their new chant honouring Petr Cech.
Since, he was signed from Chelsea, it will come as no surprise that the song features a few digs at their London rivals’ expense.
“Ooooooh…. Petr Cech is magic. He wears a magic hat. He used to play for Chelsea – but said f**k off to that.
He saves it with his left hand, he saves it with his right. And when we win the title, we’ll sing this song all night.”

This isn’t the first time the Gooners have borrowed the “My Old Man’s a Dustman” tune for their chant. A few seasons ago, they employed it to score a dig at former striker-turned-villain Emmanuel Adebayor, after a clip emerged of Alex Song knocking hos hat off his head before a North London derby.
