Neymar looks to have taken the mantle of the free-kick taking from the injured Lionel Messi, and the Brazilian is making a decent fist of things so far today against Sevilla.
He hit the target with a savage effort in this afternoon’s clash but somehow – we’re not sure yet – the ball crashed into the left hand post, dribbled across the goal-line and miraculously did not go in.

The rebound was also cracked off the other post as Barca looked to break the deadlock, with the view from behind the goal as Gerard Pique looked to steer it home even more bizarre

The forward is clearly in the groove this afternoon as this piece of trickery bought him a few yards of space earlier in the same game and almost resulted in a goal for Luis Suarez
