Cometh the hour, cometh the Sanchez.
Fresh from his phenomenal golazo in the FA Cup final, Alexis Sanchez returned to his home country to a hero’s welcome.
Sanchez arrived back in Chile on Tuesday in preparation for the Copa America, but things didn’t go so smoothly at the airport for his return.
One Chile supporter could not contain her excitement upon seeing the Arsenal superstar and darted towards him at Santiago airport. She sprinted across the road but was stopped in her tracks by a group of police officers securing the area.
Alexis, seeing how big of a fan the woman was, approached the policemen and asked them to let her go. He then proceeded to pose for a picture with her. Judging by her reaction, the kind gesture may have made her whole year.
