VIDEO: A Marouane Fellaini boot prompted a serious contender for worst dive of the year

Remember Bert Trautmann?

He was the goalkeeper who broke his neck in the 1956 FA Cup Final and continued playing.

This is not Bert Trautmann. This is CSKA Moscow defender Pontus Wernbloom.

Wernbloom was trying to rob Marouane Fellaini of possession during Wednesday night’s Group B clash and he went down like he had been shot when the air around Fellaini’s studs violently scythed down the Moscow player.
