The Reds ran out 2-1 winners over the A-League outfit. It was a nervy start for Liverpool with Dimitri Petratos giving the home side the lead after 17 minutes. James Milner played in Adam Lallana to level the game 10 minutes later and ended up grabbing the winner for the Reds in the 78th minute.
