Poor John Terry.
You give all your playing career to one club, you do everything inside and outside the laws of the game to help them wins hundreds of games and several major honours, and this is how you are thanked.
The club captain is suspended for Chelsea’s final game of the season at home to Leicester tomorrow and it looks as though his final few days at the club will be unhappy ones.
The centre-half announced earlier this year he was not signing a new contract at the club, and looked set to depart the Blues on a sour note after his red card last week and subsequent two-game suspension.
That was until Friday afternoon, when the former Premier League champions confirmed a new deal has been offered to the 35-year-old.
It is announced in the press conference that John Terry has been offered a one-year contract extension. John is considering the offer. #CFC

It was understood the deal would be on half his current wages of about £140,000 and that his playing time would be restricted under the new terms.
However, it seems as if the new contract is a world away from what the ex-England captain was hoping for, and he took to Instagram last night to explain why he may reject the last-minute reprieve.
“Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. The contract extension the club has offered me is a different role and I hope everyone will understand I want to take the time to consider it carefully before making a decision.”
