Saido Berahino will be thankful West Brom didn’t have too much to play for at home to Watford.
The England Under-21 international saw TWOÂ penalties saved by Hornets goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes as his team suffered a 1-0 home defeat, making him only the third player in Premier League history to achieve that dubious honour.
Weirdly, though, he wasn’t the first to do so against the Brazilian goalkeeper.
Berahino becomes 3rd player to miss 2 penalties in #BPL match. Joins JP Angel and D. Bent. Both of Bent's efforts also saved by Gomes!

Berahino has been a divisive figure, despite his obvious talent, and a backlash was always going to be inevitable after his latest faux pas.

But West Brom fans weren’t the only ones feeling let down by the 22-year-old.
Just realised Berahino missed 2 penalties and that has knocked me out of £216. 😷😷😷

He might not get the big-money move for which he was touted, if Tottenham fans have anything to do with it.

Imagine missing two penalties in one game. Useless. Spurs need to avoid this disruptive turkey like the plague. #Berahino.

At least some saw the funny side.
Berahino wasn't kidding when he said he wouldn't play for West Brom again.

And remember, however bad it gets, it can always be worse.
Saido Berahino – a poor man's Martin Palermo.
