It had to be, didn’t it?
Pedro was named in Chelsea’s starting line-up by Jose Mourinho for their game against West Brom this afternoon and had an instant impact, scoring the opener and setting up the second for Diego Costa as the Premier League champions built a 3-1 first-half lead at the Hawthorns, before his second-half withdrawal with ten-man Blues hanging on to a 3-2 lead following John Terry’s sending-off.
It had to be painful watching for Manchester United fans, for whom Pedro seemed destined to sign, right up until he appeared alongside Cesc Fabregas at Cobham last week.
Naturally, the denizens of Twitter reacted in a measured way to the former Barcelona star’s performance.
Pedro has now scored as many P Lge goals this season as the entire Man Utd squad.

Pedro has already done more than Torres, Kezman, Cuadrado & Mutu did in their Chelsea careers combined

And, somehow, a Liverpool fan made it about them…
Not sure why #lfc didnt consider Pedro on Benteke. Suits the attacking play. Just praying Benteke is not another Carroll
