Manchester United earned a fairly lacklustre victory against League One outfit Yeovil in their FA Cup opener
The Red Devils ran out comfortable winners over the lower league minnows but needed a moment of inspiration from midfielder Ander Herrera to break the deadlock after 64 minutes. The Spaniard blasted the ball into the net from the edge of the box after a loose pass in spectacular fashion. Di Maria added the coup de grace that saw the game off as a contest in the 11th hour.
Despite a late display of dominance from the Premier League side, the good people on social media were harshly critical of United’s incredibly dull performance in the first half.

That Herrera stunner more than makes up for the eyesore of the previous 60-odd minutes. Holy smokes

Out of context with Man Utd's display but a superb finish by Herrera to give them the lead.

3 – Ander Herrera now has three goals in seven starts for Manchester United. Smasher.

Superb goal out of nothing. Herrera scores with a beautiful strike. Steer no chance. #mufc lead.

Ref only booked Herrera because he's jealous of how fabulous he is.
