Troy Parrott has been ripping it up in the UEFA Youth League.
Just last week, the youngster, playing three years out of his age showed Inter Milan a clean pair of heels.
And now he can add Barcelona to the collection.
Spurs’ under-19s travelled to the Mini Estadi to take on Barca’s youths in their final game of the group stages on Tuesday afteroon for what was a must win clash for the London club.
With the stakes at their highest, Troy Parrott came alive.
Spurs were on top in the first quarter of the game and in the 17th minute the chance they’d been threatening to create arrived.
Luckily for them, it arrived to the feet of the 16-year-old Republic of Ireland underage star, the great white hope of Irish football.
Teammate Maghoma made some space for himself down the right hand-side and there was an opening.
With some movement that Robbie Keane would have been proud of, Parrott sent his marker spinning and created acres of space for himself just outside the small box.
Maghoma had an easy job then to send it into his path and Parrott finished it off coolly.
On Monday night, Parrott was training with the Spurs first team in the Camp Nou as they prepare for their group clash against Barcelona in the Camp Nou.
Manager Pochetino obviously rates the youngster highly as does Republic of Ireland under-21 manager Stephen Kenny.
This lad is the future.
