One of the behemoths of world football are keeping tabs on Hendo, while Manchester United are lining up a move for “the next Neymar.”
Henderson, who is expected to take over the captain’s armband at Anfield from MLS-bound Steven Gerrard in the summer, is being linked with a shock transfer to Spain.
The England international has 18 months left to run on his current contract, and while a new deal seems imminent, El Mundo Deportivo reckon Barcelona could be set to swoop in and land Henderson on a free transfer.
Although this story seems to be driven by the rumour-mill generated by the Spanish press, Barca have sent scouts to recent Liverpool matches which suggests they could be keeping an eye on a few players at the club.
Arturo Vidal could be finally set to join Manchester United, so Calcio Mercato reports. Vidal, who has perpetually been linked with a move to Old Trafford, could be on his way out of Serie A.
Juventus are reportedly ready to cash in on their Chilean midfielder with both Manchester United and Manchester City keen on acquiring the 27-year-old. Juve are said to be willing to accept as little as £14.4million to part with Vidal.
Manchester United are also looking to sign Fluminese young gun Kenedy, according to the Metro.
The 19-year-old wonderkid has been pegged as the “next Neymar” and it is understood that the Red Devils have lodged a £5.7million bid for the Brazilian.
However, Fluminese may not accept the offer as they have apparently set an asking price of £14 million for their striker. Barcelona are also said to be interested in the forward.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur could be willing to spend big to secure Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho.
Reports in Spain are suggesting that Spurs have made several enquiries to the La Liga outfit about the 24-year-old, who has recently broken into the Spanish national squad.
However, Spurs will face stiff competition from Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Napoli who are reportedly still interested in signing the midfielder after having bids rejected last summer. Camacho could be allowed to leave La Rosaleda stadium for a fee of around £20 million.
Liverpool are lining up a bid for Atalanta shot-stopper Marco Sportiello. The Daily Mail are claiming that the Reds are looking to snap up the 22-year-old goalkeeper to push for the number one spot at Anfield.
The youngster came through the youth system at Atalanta and broke into the Serie A side’s first team this season. Inter Milan and AC Milan have also apparently made enquiries about Sportiello.
