Arsenal and Liverpool are being linked with two big name Juventus stars
Arsene Wenger could be getting ready to splash the cash to sign Juve midfield maestro Paul Pogba. The Serie A starlet has been lighting up the Italian top flight this season and the Express are reporting that Arsenal are very keen on acquiring his services next season.
Pogba won’t come cheap though. Juve have apparently set an asking price of £80m (€108m) for the young Frenchman and Arsenal will have to compete with Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United who are also said to be interested in his signature.
Liverpool are lining up a transfer for another star at the Stadio Delle Alpi, according to the Mirror. Juve striker Alvaro Morata could be set for a switch to Anfield after falling out of favour at the club. The 22-year-old has failed to nail down a regular first team spot since joining the club from Real Madrid last summer and could see a move to Liverpool as an ideal way to get more game time.
The two Manchesters could be set to slug it out to try to sign top-rated Spanish midfielder Koke, so the Daily Star reports. Both Manchester United and Manchester City are eyeing up the Atletico Madrid star but might have to splash out to acquire his services. Koke has a £44 million release clause at the club.
However, City are rumoured to be willing to throw in Stevan Jovetic in a part-exchange deal to entice the club to let their man leave. The Montenegro international has failed to make a real impact at the club since making the £22 million switch from Fiorentina in the summer of 2013.
The Mirror are claiming that Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Valencia wonderkid Carlos Badal. The 15-year-old impressed the Chelsea scouts with his stellar performances at a recent youth tournament and the Blues could be looking to try to develop the centre back at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Chelsea youngster Thorgan Hazard joined Bundelsiga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach on a permanent deal. The younger brother of Eden has been on loan at the German club all season and signed a contract for the team until 2020 on Monday. According to the Guardian though, the Blues have retained a buy-back option should they wish to re-sign the Belgian in the future.
