Boring, boring Chelsea?
Jose Mourinho’s Blues may have more in the efficiency stakes than they do in entertainment value but it’s hard to argue with the fact that they are deserving Premier League champions.
And today (13 May 2015), they’ve crossed the border from deserving into dominant as they have broken the record for most days at the top of the table.
Chelsea have officially been sitting at the top of the league for 263 days which breaks Manchester United’s record from the 1993/94 season (262 days).
And Jose Mourinho is no stranger to this level of superiority because his Chelsea team of 2005/06 were similarly dominant, racking up 257 days atop the Premier League table.
