The murmurs and whispers, nod and winks about Seamus Coleman’s switch to Manchester United have gone to the leading story on Sky Sports News, today, and features in just about every Sunday paper in England.
United were close to signing the 26-year-old Ireland international in January and are coming back for another, £20m pass.
These statistics from SSNHQ show just how important Coleman was to his Everton team last season.

Indeed, 2013/14 was even better. He completed 64 dribbles, created 42 goal-scoring chances, had two assists and six goals. No surprise, then, that he made the Premier League Team of the Season.
As if that wasn’t reason enough for United to sit up and take notice, Coleman himself would surely be amenable to a switch to Old Trafford.

No surprise, of course, as the former Sligo Rovers player has supported United since he was a youngster.
Reason number three? Current right-back, Rafael, due to poor form and injury, played only 10 games [six starts] last season.
