The truth hurts sometimes.
But it can also be cruelly funny as Liverpool fans are finding out this afternoon with this tweet mocking the club’s lack of Premier League success being shared around the world.
The club have not won the Premier League title since 1990 despite some very near misses.
In that period however much has changed in the world, as children have been born, players have come and gone, and new teams have emerged to challenge for the Premier League title.
One such team is Leicester City, who after today’s 3-1 win over Manchester City, are now six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Their goalkeeper, Kasper Schmeichel, is of course the son of Manchester United legend Peter, which has led to this factoid giving Manchester United and Leicester fans as much glee as possible today
Since Liverpool last won the league Peter Schmeichel signed for Man Utd, won it 5 times, retired, had a son & he's about to win it with LCFC

Bold.
So bold.
Even if it’s not true, why let that get in the way of a good troll eh.
Kasper Schmeichel was actually born in 1986.
