Poor Raul is having his thunder stolen by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spaniard is still the record goalscorer for Los Blancoes but Cr7 is hot on his trails.
In a storied 16-year career at the Bernabeu, Raul found the net a remarkable 323 times in 741 games. This is a massively impressive return, that is until you do a side-by-side comparison to Ronaldo’s record at the club of 300 goals in 288 games over less than 6 years.
Things get even more ridiculous when you break out the calculator. Raul’s goals to game ration is an outstanding 0.436, while Ronaldo’s is a behemoth 1.042. When you crunch the numbers to find out how many games Ronaldo would have to go without scoring to go down to Raul’s level, it gets depressing for the Spaniard.
*Starts up the Casio* 300/0.436 = 688. Therefore, the Portuguese star would need to go another 400 games without scoring to match Raul.
Mental.
