There is now an official march organised to get Alexis Sanchez out of Arsenal

Thousands have already signed up.

Alexis Sanchez’s time at Arsenal certainly looks up.

Reports in the Daily Mirror suggest that the Chile international will leave Arsenal at the end of the season after stalling on a new contract with the Gunners.

But, not content to trust the sources of a newspaper, thousands of Chileans have signed up to a march in order to convince their beloved Sanchez to make this season his last in North London.

4,000 supporters have already signed up for the event, which is called the ‘National March for Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal’ – catchy, right?

Sanchez scored Arsenal’s only goal during their 5-1 humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich on Wednesday and his fellow countrymen and women are sick of seeing the 28-year-old give his all for the Arsenal cause only for his teammates to let him down.

Sanchez’s contract will expire at the end of next season but he is being linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer, with both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus interested in the forward.

“We, as Chileans are tired of watching one of our biggest stars play on his own to make his team get through,” a statement on the event’s Facebook page reads.

“We don’t want him to play at Real Madrid, nor go back to Barcelona, we don’t give a f*ck where he plays, we just want him to fight along with other 10 players to get the results.

“He doesn’t deserve to be alone.”

The march will take place in Santiago on March 1, if anyone feels like heading to Chile.
