There is now a specialised Zlatan Ibrahimovic search engine. Of course there is

Google just wasn't doing it for one Zlatanista

Evan Fanning

Obsessed with Zlatan Ibrahimovic but tired of reading lots of internet content that has nothing to do with the Swedish icon?

No? Well read on anyway.

Yes? Well here is the website for you.

It’s a search engine, like Google see, but it’s called Zlaaatan.com.

And no matter what you search for the results will be related in some way to the Paris St-Germain striker.

Basically, all Zlatan.com does is transport whatever you search for to Google.com and stick ‘Zlatan’ in front of it because he is the only famous Zlatan in the world. (Pipe down Slovenian rapper Zlatan Cordic – we Wikipedia’d that).

So if you search for ‘Arsenal’ in Zlaaatan.com you’ll get results related to Zlatan’s displays against the Gooners, and if you search ‘Barcelona’ you’ll get tales from his less than successful spell at the Catalan giants.

And if you search for ‘over-rated, egomaniacal centre forward’ then you get Zlatan.

But then Google would probably throw up that one too.

The idea is the brain child of Andreas Killander, creative director of an agency called SweetPop, who gives no real reason for coming up with a site that has already crashed under the weight of interest from people killing time in work over-excited Zlatanistas.

“We didn’t ask his permission, but we hope he sees it as an amusing,” Killander says.

“Our search engine is linked to Google but all the searches are Zlatanified. All the results have some link to Zlatan… if you type in Ferrari, you’ll get stuff about Zlatan’s Ferrari; if you want a recipe, you’ll get the Zlatan Burger. Zlatan is an idol. He’s known the world over. That’s why we chose him.”

Will it be as successful as Bing? Only time will tell.
