Manchester United travel to an in-form Villa

Aston Villa are coming into this game on a high after shocking Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Unai Emery’s side beat the German side 1-0 at Villa Park thanks to a late goal scored by substitute Jhon Duran.

In the Premier League, Villa currently sit fifth in the table after taking 13 points from their opening six games.

Jacob Ramsey and Amadou Onana were both forced off in the win over Bayern and that leaves them as doubts for this weekend’s clash.

Villa are also likely to be without Matty Cash, while long-term absentees Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara are still someway off a return to action.

Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag’s side are feeling the pressure heading into this fixture after slumping to 14th in the table with just seven points from six games.

Meanwhile, Harry Maguire may have saved Ten Hag’s job with an equaliser against Porto midweek in the Europa League but failure to get a result today could mean the Reds find themselves in search of a new manager over the international break.

Ten Hag will be boosted by the presence of Bruno Fernandes who had his red card from last week’s game against Tottenham rescinded.

Kobbie Mainoo unfortunately remains a doubt after missing the game against Porto.

The match kicks off at 2pm.

Chelsea host Nottingham Forest at 2pm while Brighton and Hove Albion take on Tottenham Hotspur at 4.30pm.
