The menu for Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs’ new football themed restaurant is inspired by legends such as Alex Ferguson, Eric Cantona and Jose Mourinho.

Patrons at ‘Cafe Football’ will be able to sample ‘The Boss’, a fiery burger named after former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, which comprises of ‘dry aged beef’ and ‘Scotch bonnet chilli’.

There’s also ‘The King’, a beer with french ingredients honouring Cantona and ‘The Wizard’, a Welsh lamb burger celebrating United legend Giggs.

The restaurant is part of a Manchester hotel owned by Giggs and Neville and the menu sticks strongly to the football theme. There’s also ‘The overhead kick’, honouring Wayne Rooney’s goal against Manchester City in 2011, a pizza named after Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola and ‘The Special One’, a Portuguese chicken burger celebrating Jose Mourinho.

Any plans to name a dish after United midfielder Anderson appear abandoned as there are no supersize meals on the menu.
