The great tweet from the Mexican FA that proves they are still not over Arjen Robben’s World Cup dive

Great work by the Mexican FA

Tonight, Mexico play Holland at 7.30, in a rematch off a rather tasty World Cup second round match from Brazil.

That game is famous for a few things;

1 The stifling heat in which it was played

2 The dramatic Wesley Sneijder goal that levelled the game with minutes to go and, most famously…

3 The Arjen Robben dive/fall that handed Holland a penalty in injury time which Klaas Jan Huntelaar dispatched to send Mexico home.

So, are Mexico mentioning the dive before the game tonight?

Yes, yes they are, with a tweet that not only says ‘It wasn’t a penalty’, a popular hashtag in Mexico after the game, but also with a counter of the days since the incident.
