At least the Manchester City representative at today’s Champions League draw tried to keep his emotions under control. At least he tried.
But, as the English champions were paired with Barcelona in the round of 16, City’s message-bearer was… let’s just say less than ecstatic about having to report back to the Etihad with news of their impending duel with the same outfit who banished them from Europe last season.
His face goes from near-anger, to disappointment then a shake of the head as he seems to ponder almost horror-filled the idea of taking the news back to Manchester. You had one job.
