Mario Balotelli is top of one Liverpoool stat at least
One third of the way through the Premier League season and the Daily Mail decided it would be a good time to collate all the stats on the biggest offenders in the Premier League.
Top of the table, and therefore the filthiest team in the Premier League are Tottenham. Opta awarded one point per foul, three for a yellow card and six for a red and using that method Spurs have a total of 265 points, four ahead of fellow Londoners Crystal Palace.
Manchester City are third, Chelsea are seventh, Manchester United are eighth and Arsenal are mid-tabel in 10th.
Liverpool are near the relegation zone in 17th while QPR are the cleanest team in the league, with 80 ‘points’ that Spurs have accumulated.
The dirtiest player in the league was also revealed (Palace’s Mile Jedinak has 46 ‘points’ on his own) while each club’s worst offender was also named.
And it is yet more bad news for Mario Balotelli, who is Liverpool’s dirtiest player. Why always him, eh?
