This is all just a little bit odd
It would seem that Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has developed a sixth sense.
No, he can’t see dead people (we assume) but Hendo appears to have developed a preternatural understanding of when a goal is about to be scored.
If you see the soon-to-be Liverpool captain do a little skip then you know the ball is about to hit the net.
His running style may have been famously doubted by Sir Alex Ferguson, but this affectation is truly groundbreaking.
Don’t believe us? Well watch him (bottom left of clip) as Raheem Sterling danced his way into the Chelsea penalty area on Tuesday night.
This came just a couple of days after a more blatant skip by the midfielder and Rickie Lambert smashed home Liverpool’s second at Aston Villa.
Earlier in the season he produced perhaps the best hop of all moments before Steven Gerrard slotted home Liverpool’s second against Leicester City.

As far as we can tell, Hendo’s hop dates back to last season when it first appeared during the FA Cup tie against Oldham Athletic.
So impressed was he by it that he also managed to work the little jump into his goal celebration as well as in the build up to the strike.

And it later appeared as Luis Suarez was about to stick the ball in the net during the 6-3 win at Cardiff.
Why would he be doing this?
What can only assume that the very prospect of a goal being scored fills Henderson with such a rush of excitement that the only suitable form of release is a hop, skip and a jump like he’s some crazed 10-year-old who has had too much sugar.
Either that or we want him to fill in our betting coupon.
