No-one is picking Jon Walters. NO-ONE!
It’s a sad state of affairs but there’s no love for the Republic of Ireland individuals around Europe.
A little tournament gets underway in France on Friday and dream teams are being frantically completed ahead of the deadline and nobody gives a single f**k about what Martin O’Neill has to offer.
Not even if they’re going at cut-price value.
Ireland's key players are seriously undervalued in Uefa's fantasy XI https://t.co/ALQMDFYAmP

Wes Hoolahan is up for €6m on UEFA’s fantasy football – four million cheaper than Kevin De Bruyne, the dearest midfielder in the game – and approximately zero per cent of the football-loving population have opted for the Dublin gem.
The same amount of people have gone for Wales’ Ashley Williams than they have for Seamus Coleman.
Ireland’s most sought-after player? Keiren Westwood.

The Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper is obviously being brought it on the cheap by most people, presumably as a sub ‘keeper for their fantasy squads and not even Shane Long could attract as many suitors.
Presumed number one, Darren Randolph, is the lowest ranked ‘keeper of the squad whilst Shane Duffy is the second most popular defender.
To sum up: no-one knows/cares about Ireland.
Here’s the list of Ireland’s players and what percentage of the population is selecting them for UEFA’s fantasy football game.
Keiren Westwood – 4%
Shane Long – 3%
Seamus Coleman – 3%
Shane Duffy – 2%
Shay Given – 2%
Darren Randolph – 1%
John O’Shea – 1%
David Meyler – 1%
Aiden McGeady – 1%
Glenn Whelan – 1%
James McCarthy – 1%
Daryl Murphy – 1%
Jon Walters – 0%
Wes Hoolahan – 0%
Richard Keogh – 0%
And so on and so on.
Compared with the most popular in the tournament, Westwood’s four per cent isn’t featuring anywhere near the top believe it or not.
Paul Pogba – 46%
Manuel Neuer – 38%
Thomas Muller – 36%
Antoine Griezmann – 33%
Dele Alli – 32%
Sergio Ramos – 31%
Jerome Boateng – 31%
Cristiano Ronaldo – 30%
