The Adidas 1980’s retro-inspired Manchester United jerseys are a must-buy

The general consensus amongst Man United supporters is that they seem to love this season’s home kit – it’s simple, stylish and pleasingly retro.

They’d have been even happier the traditional adidas trefoil logo and of course no sponsor – just to give it that proper vintage feel. But you can’t have everything…or can you?

Whilst fawning over images of David Beckham opening an adidas store in Dubai, we spotted this image of the brand ambassador signing United shirts…

Except we zoomed in to discover they weren’t the new 2015/16 home jersey, but in fact a new range of adidas Originals retro kits…

The design looks like it’s based on the iconic Adidas-made Man United kits from 1980-82, complete with the original ‘Manchester United Football Club’ badge…
