As we know only too well, picking winners in football is hard, and as for picking winners when it comes to international friendlies a phrase with the words 'pissing' and 'wind' springs to mind. But it seems it isn't nearly as impossible as we thought. Karla Drew, a student in Sheffield who is also a budding heptathlete, landed a frankly ridiculous bet last night, pocketing the sort of winnings that means she won't have to worry about paying off her student loan anyway. Last night she posted this slip with two games remaining.

Sure enough, Uruguay won and Panama drew, meaning her online account is bulging this morning. Bet she is raging she didn't throw in the Ireland game too...
