Stoke City fan offers Jose Mourinho an ingenious way around his stadium ban

A special seat for the special one.

Chelsea play Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium later today, but will be without their manager. Jose Mourinho is serving a one match stadium ban and said yesterday he’ll watch the game at home on his iPad.

However, a Stoke fan has offered Jose a very clever way to get around the FA punishment.

Carl The Truckman (real name, apparently) has reserved a special seat for the Special One on the hill that overlooks the Britannia. We can only hope this message reaches Jose in time, and he makes it to the stadium before kick-off.

You don’t have to watch the game at home in west London, Jose, a folding chair on a hill in Stoke awaits. Just wrap up well, bring an umbrella and some sandwiches.

Mourinho would probably rather this than listen to Jamie Redknapp on Sky.
