He must have burnt the jersey from the Stoke game

If you have a few spare euro lying around and you fancy doing some good for once in your sordid life then listen up.

Oh and it helps if you’re a Liverpool fan too.

Steven Gerrard may have moved on from his boyhood club now, but the good work that the former No 8 performed while in red continues to live on as the club are putting the jersey he scored his final Anfield goal in up for sale for charity.

The club has donated 14 match-worn shirts for auction to raise funds for relief efforts in Nepal which was hit by an earthquake in April.

Included among the jerseys worn by Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana is a shirt worn by Gerrard on his penultimate day at Anfield, when the former England captain scored a header to help his side  to a 2-1 win over QPR.

It’s a little piece of history and it’s for a great cause too with the latest bid on Gerrard’s jersey coming in at just over €1300 as of this evening.

If you can’t afford that then Dejan Lovren’s is a cool €75.99 or Glen Johnson’s is about five euro more expensive.

Bargains.

The auction continues on Ebay until 7pm on Sunday June 21.
