So now they just need Neymar, Bale and James Rodriguez.

Manchester United are ready to spend big again and what better way to splash your money than using it to attract one of the world’s best two* players.

(*In the interest of fairness)

According to Spanish journalist Pipi Estradi, Real Madrid president Florentini Perez is ready for a Bernabeu revolution with Cristiano Ronaldo one of 10 players set for the chop.

Sport are reporting that the Marca journalist suggested on TV show El Chiringuito that there could be a cull in Madrid over the coming months with Rafa Benitez first for the exit doors.

And, with Ronaldo approaching 31 in February, the club are apparently ready to make some money back on their world-record investment who has put in a decent shift for the last six and a half seasons.

Perez is looking for 200 million euros to revamp the squad because money has always been hard to come by for the club. So, if United are really keen on bringing the Portuguese hotshot back to Old Trafford, it will cost in the region of 60 million euros. What the hell are you waiting for?

Among the other players listed by Estradi, Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos would be joining Ronaldo on the transfer list along with club legend Sergio Ramos.

All names we’ll be linking with United when the transfer window opens on Saturday, no doubt.

The news that Ronaldo could be ready to leave though will of course set every single club on red alert even if he is out of form.

After all, he only managed 57 goals in 57 games in 2015. Damaged goods.
