After Friday’s horrific terrorist attacks in France, Germany’s game with the Netherlands at the HDI-Arena in Hanover has been cancelled as fans were asked to evacuate the stadium.
Germany were of course involved in the game with France on the fateful evening of the attacks in Paris. Hopefully this is a precautionary measure.

A suspect item was found which alarmed authorities and action was taken swiftly.

Meanwhile, in England, the FA were forced to issue an apology for not mentioning the Paris attacks in their match programmes for the France game. It seems trivial enough at the moment though with concerns in Hannover as police continue to move crowds away from the stadium.

The Hannover Chief of Police then confirmed that there was a “possible bomb attack at the stadium.”
