The football family really is special.
St. Patrick’s Athletic players led a truly remarkable tribute in memory of one of their fans who sadly passed away last week.
Niall Hannigan, or ‘Hano’, was a regular at Inchicore and his white cap clearly made an impression on the whole club, the team all wearing one to remember a supporter they held dear.
The Dubliners were entertaining Limerick in the League of Ireland on Friday night but, before the football kicked off, there were more important matters to attend to.
What a classy way to pay respects.
