As if the darts couldn’t get any better
Former Spurs and Germany midfielder Steffan Freund was bleeping loud and proud on our ‘Legends’ radar overnight after his appearance at the World Darts Championships, at Alexandra Palace, dressed as a member of the Teletubbies.
Freund, who is currently earning a wedge as Tottenham’s international coaching director, was pictured at Ally Pally dressed as the Teletubbies leader, Tinky Winky.

Elsewhere at the vaunted darts venue, Raymond van Barneveld still beat Adrian Lewis despite his nine-dart finish during their contest. Stephen Bunting defeated Michael Smith to march on while Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor survived a mighty scare to edge Kim Huybrechts 4-3.
One man who certainly enjoyed all the action at Ally Pally was The Sunday Times’ political editor Tim Shipman.
Anyone not watching the darts this evening has a hole in their life that no amount of premiership football can fill @SkySportsDarts
