Somehow one of Liverpool’s worst ever defenders has his own summer camp

Demand is high so book early

Kevin McGillicuddy

Roy Hodgson.

In his brief spell as Liverpool manager he pretty much got everything wrong.

If a door was marked pull he’d push, and if the lift was going up he’d want to be going down.

And among his many many errors was the purchase of Paul Konchesky.

The left back did quite well for Roy during Fulham’s amazing march to the Europa League final in 2010, but when he got to play in red after Liverpool splashed out between £3-4 million for him that summer he was a total disaster.

When Kenny Dalglish came in to the club to replace Hodgson in January 2011, Konchesky was promptly sent out on loan to Nottingham Forest and joined Leicester that summer.

He’s still with the Foxes and to get in a few extra bob during the summer, he is now the face of a summer camp.

Yes, you can get your kids schooled in the ‘art’ of defending by a man who somehow has two England caps.

Also. he now has hair.

Next thing you’ll know is that Djimi Traore will be showing kids how to backheel the ball into your own net.

And if you have any doubt as to how bad he really was check out his ‘Iago Aspas’ moment against Everton.
