Some brand new features on Football Manager 2016 have been revealed

Better than ever!

Ben Kenyon

The new Football Manager 2016 game is here!

But if you thought it couldn’t get any better from last year’s edition, you’d be wrong my friend.

The creators of the beloved football game have really cranked it up a notch this year with a raft of class new features.

Most importantly you need to look good on the touchline, so you can now customise your own touchline boss on the game, clothes and all.

More than 2,000 new animations will feature on the 2016 incarnation and there is a new highlights packages and greater set piece control.

Press conferences are about to get even better, with new conversations to have with the press…and best of all unemployed managers can use media interview to get back into a job.

You will be able to create a dream team and take on your pals in ‘Fantasy Draft mode’.

For the first time, you will be able to add your custom-built club to any league you want – fancy challenging Barcelona in La Liga? No problem. Think you could be the next LA Galaxy in MLS. Go for it.

This year’s game gives you more in-depth analysis of the game, using Prozone integration – so expect more of Sky Sports using stats from FM16. Even the injuries are being made more realistic.

It’s a shame they didn’t take on board our suggestion for adding comments from that moaning b*stard that sits behind the dugouts and wines at the manager every match. Maybe next year, eh?
