We’ve heard he’s good.
Shamrock Rovers earned themselves a comfortable 3-0 win over Cork city tonight in the SSE Airtricity League, but the appearance of a certain Ireland legend was the biggest highlight for Hoops fans.
For the second consecutive game Damien Duff was named on the bench since he made his move back to Ireland official last month, and he finally got a taste of action tonight.
The Dubliner was brought on as a late second half substitute and received a huge welcome from everyone in Tallaght.
