Sergio Ramos simply couldn’t ignore his bathroom emergency against Eibar

Ramos walked off the pitch to see to the problem

When you gotta go, you gotta go.

Sergio Ramos simply couldn’t hold out for full time when his stomach began urging him to visit the bathroom late on in Real Madrid’s La Liga clash with Eibar.

With Real chasing a winner, Ramos conspicuously went missing from the visitors’ back four with 73 minutes played and the score finely poised at 1-1.

Manager Zinedine Zidane had already made all three substitutions and Ramos, who was somewhat at fault for Eibar’s equaliser after half-time, didn’t appear to be injured as he jogged off the playing surface.

A few minutes went by and Ramos returned to the fray, just in time to see Cristiano Ronaldo net his second of the game and secure the win for Real Madrid.

Reporters and supporters were very curious about what happened to their captain late on in the game and Zidane didn’t mind letting everybody know, in graphic detail, what had gone down.

“He s**t himself a little bit,” Zidane said in his post-match press conference, via FourFourTwo. “He went to the bathroom.”

Gary Lineker can surely sympathise with the Spaniard.
